According to EA the following are the system requirements for running a BF2 server:


LINUX

Minimum Specification, based on playing a 16 player game: 

 CPU: 1 Ghz Processor
 RAM: 256 Mb

Recommended Specification, based on playing a 64player game: 

 CPU: 3,4 Ghz Pentium 4 or Athlon XP, or a 2 Ghz 64 Opteron.
 RAM: 1 Gb

WINDOWS

Minimum Specification, based on playing a 16 player game: 

 CPU: 1 Ghz Processor
 RAM: 384 Mb

Recommended Specification, based on playing a 64player game: 

 CPU: 3,6 Ghz Pentium 4 or Athlon XP
 RAM: 1 Gb
